Marta Sutora Violin

Marta Sutora

A distinguished violinist and educator, possessing extensive experience in both performance and teaching throughout Europe, the United States, and Australia.

Her educational background includes a Master of Arts degree in Violin performance and teaching from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Over the course of her career, Marta refined her pedagogical expertise through direct work with students under the supervision of university professors and through consultations with distinguished professors from leading institutions. Her dedication to adapting diverse experiences to address challenges in teaching systems across different countries reflects her commitment to providing a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

As a professional violinist, Marta has performed with various symphony and chamber orchestras in Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, and has appeared on renowned stages in the USA, Canada, Japan, China, and Europe.

She is the co-founder of the European Violin Academy in Adelaide, where she provides exceptional violin education to talented young musicians and organises student concerts to build their confidence and independence in performance.

Marta’s multilingual abilities, creative approach, and strong organisational skills further enrich her contributions to the musical community, while her passion for presenting music to diverse audiences aligns with her belief in its profound impact on culture, education, and personal growth.

Matej Sutora Violin

Matej Sutora

An experienced violin teacher and performer deeply involved in music education and international exposure. 

Matej is a Master of Arts graduate in Violin Performance from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia, and is also certified in specialised violin pedagogy.

His academic path was significantly enriched through international summer academies and interpretative courses with some of the world’s most renowned violinists.

Influenced by distinguished professors, Matej developed a distinctive methodology customised to meet the specific needs of his students. He brings extensive experience as a private violin teacher in Slovakia and Austria, alongside his role as a violin and ensemble instructor at the Conservatory of Music.

In partnership with Marta Sutora, he co-established the European Violin Academy in Adelaide, dedicated to providing high-quality violin tuition and showcasing student talent through concerts designed to foster confidence in their performances. Beyond his role at the Academy, Matej offers violin instruction at various primary and secondary schools throughout South Australia.

Matej actively engages with orchestras and music ensembles in Europe and Australia, such as the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and the Adelaide Concert Orchestra.

His dedication lies in making music accessible to all and inspiring the next generation with exceptional results.
